The Latest Battle
I think I can officially call this a battle, one in the middle of my never-ending lifetime war with BSD (bipolar). The offical call came after I couldn't put a happy face on and go to the family reunion. I am really bummed because some of my favorite family members were there. I was too busy having a pity party for myself and cleaning/getting ready for my in-laws to come. As of now, I am still having trouble getting out of bed and pretending that I'm fine while the in-laws are here. I'm gonna have to drag myself into the doctor and reconfigure my meds AGAIN. I'm not going to forgive myself for this one anytime soon, either. Missing the reunion, I mean. Just scoop onto my guilt pile. More later.......... all I can say for myself right now is... I am sooooo sorry I missed all of you at the reunion. I really wish I could have been there.

2 days 'til Christmas
Thanksgiving, 2 first birthday parties, many wrestling tournaments, shopping, wrapping, crafting, CLEANING, another birthday party, work, house training the puppy. That is the list of what's been going on. I haven't worked out since before Thanksgiving. The only thing I can count as even sort of a workout is running "suicides" in the backyard with the puppy. (think basketball drills). Is anyone else as busy as this? I'm exhausted. I find myself needing more and more sleep but then, not being able to sleep. I know what I need, but I'm last on the list of things to take care of. Right now, I just want to get through the next week.
Tomorrow I have to work, then clean, wrap, and bake. Wednesday is Christmas Eve; dinner at my house, the rolls need to be started by about 10:00. Thursday is Christmas. Friday is a family reunion. Saturday my in-laws come. Whew! I'm hoping the by Thursday I can just sit in my pajamas and enjoy my clean house and quiet kids (i'm not holding my breath).
I hope all of you are enjoying this week and are not as far behing schedule as I am. If so, and you're up at 1:00am trying to finish that last minute gift while the kid who it's intended for is in bed.......you're in good company.
Even with my stress filled days, I stop several times a day and am reminded of all the friends and family we won't be seeing this Christmas. I'll miss you and think of you while lying under my tree with a huge Diet Coke on Thursday morning...when we all get up...around 10:00. haha-all of you with little kids will be up before dawn! suckers!

New Baby
Hahahaha. Not the human kind. The canine variety.....a 10 week old cockapoo to be exact. Fritz is the reason for my blogging absence....along with the kids VERY hectic schedules, and work, and the shopping I still haven't finished, and, and, and.
More later. I have lots of ranting and raving saved up. I've just been saving up until I could do a proper "update". Seems how that's not gonna happen, and Holly's nagging me to update.... you can have little bits at a time. For now.....we've got a new baby....um, puppy. He's so good. Sleeps through the night and pees outside. What more can you ask?
Hope your holiday season is better than mine...:) I'm stressed to the gills and it's giving me a migraine....3 in the last week to be exact. Give me drugs now!

No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I haven't taken to my bed in a bout of depression either. I've been VERY busy prepping for the holidays. I've been sewing, jewelry making, painting, etc, etc. I can't post pics because some of you may be recipients of said projects. With the economy in the crapper, a lot of this Christmas will be homemade. Just a head's up. Anyway, I'll update later.... More sewing to finish by tomorrow.

warning: show spoiler
***updated. As I was writing this, Jay was reading over my shoulder and proceeded to tell me how dorky I am for blogging about TV. I know. Deal with it. It's a stress release. Of course, I didn't comment on all my shows....but I added a couple more.
17 Kids and Counting: brilliant. those parents are freakin' amazing. weird, but amazing. I have so much respect.
Biggest Loser: No spoiler here...I missed the last 2 episodes. "someone" deleted it from my dvr list. I better not miss this week's too.
Survivor: I am so bummed that Marcus got voted out on Thursday. He is my fave and now I don't know who I'm gonna root for. I know it's NOT Crystal, Randy, or Suzie. Actually, I do know who I'm rootin' for but I don't want to jinx it. Arrrgh! The wait til Thursday is gonna suck.
Tim Gunn's Guide to Style: Oh how I would love to be on this show. It was good last season, but now with Gretta on there, it's absolutely fantastic! I love that they dress real people with real bodies. I hate that they're all from New York.
What Not to Wear: Why do I love these makeover shows? Probably because then I see that there is always hope for improvement. No matter where you start from. Read into that as much as you like.
Amazing Race: I'm sorry, but the girls that went home tonight were D-U-M-B. The frat boys aren't much better. Ex-football player and wife bug the crap out of me, but pulled up a little today. The dating couple bug me too. Does he ever stop whining and complaining?
One of my newest faves is How Clean Is Your House? on BBC America. Have you seen this show? It's awesome! It makes me feel so much better about the state of my house. I laugh every time Kim calls the homeowner a "dirty beggar". Here's my question: What in the heck is biological washing powder?
