David graduated from 6th grade today. Got medals for being on the honor roll every quarter since 3rd grade. So proud. As you can see from the photo, I showed up sans makeup. At least I was showered and dressed. 15, the photographer, needs to be fired. This was the best one of the bunch. Sheesh. Anyway, for us, this marks the end of E's and S's for things like citizenship and art. Did I ever tell you about the time David got an S in Music? The kid doesn't like anything less than an A (or an E in this case). HE actually went to the teacher and asked her WHY? She changed it after he pointed out that he always participates and has good behavior. I thought it was hilarious.Another thing that happened at "promotion"/"graduation"/whatever. After I snapped a few shots of David and his BFF, Ben, Jay jokingly told David to go hug a girl. He DID! Without hesitation, he walked right up to the girl of his choice, she shouted "David" and fell into his arms... he had a grin from ear to ear. Now, you may think this is funny or cute. After the escapades of 15 recently, I do NOT think this is remotely comical and definately not cute. Now I am worried about this one, too! Crap! (Do you think David would care if I posted the pics?)
We got our official move in date today. We load the truck on July 2nd and the wheels are rollin' for CA on the 3rd!
