laundry dilema

My dryer is broken. I have MOUNDS of laundry piling up. Should I take it to the (gasp!) laundromat? The repair-guy can't get here until Friday. I'm such a spoiled suburban mom. Oh, it's cold and rainy so hanging the laundry out to dry won't do. Besides, I don't have a laundry line - who does? AND, I am the one who broke the dryer. I tried putting all my bedding into it. (sheets, mattress cover, comforter, pillow cases- I'm a genius) Impatience led to major frustration........ and probably a bill that my husband will be extremely irritated with. Oops.

Holiday Chaos

In that chaotic world that is my house, 1/2 of my Christmas card didn't go out. I know this because I saw them at the bottom of the trash can with beef stew all over them. Mind you, I never take the trash out. That's a kid's job. So, I was doing one of them a favor, too. Of course, "no one" did it. Anyway, here's the stat sheet that went out with the pic. The pics were ones already posted on the blog-just of the kids.

The Latest Battle

I think I can officially call this a battle, one in the middle of my never-ending lifetime war with BSD (bipolar). The offical call came after I couldn't put a happy face on and go to the family reunion. I am really bummed because some of my favorite family members were there. I was too busy having a pity party for myself and cleaning/getting ready for my in-laws to come. As of now, I am still having trouble getting out of bed and pretending that I'm fine while the in-laws are here. I'm gonna have to drag myself into the doctor and reconfigure my meds AGAIN. I'm not going to forgive myself for this one anytime soon, either. Missing the reunion, I mean. Just scoop onto my guilt pile. More later.......... all I can say for myself right now is... I am sooooo sorry I missed all of you at the reunion. I really wish I could have been there.

2 days 'til Christmas

Thanksgiving, 2 first birthday parties, many wrestling tournaments, shopping, wrapping, crafting, CLEANING, another birthday party, work, house training the puppy. That is the list of what's been going on. I haven't worked out since before Thanksgiving. The only thing I can count as even sort of a workout is running "suicides" in the backyard with the puppy. (think basketball drills). Is anyone else as busy as this? I'm exhausted. I find myself needing more and more sleep but then, not being able to sleep. I know what I need, but I'm last on the list of things to take care of. Right now, I just want to get through the next week.
Tomorrow I have to work, then clean, wrap, and bake. Wednesday is Christmas Eve; dinner at my house, the rolls need to be started by about 10:00. Thursday is Christmas. Friday is a family reunion. Saturday my in-laws come. Whew! I'm hoping the by Thursday I can just sit in my pajamas and enjoy my clean house and quiet kids (i'm not holding my breath).
I hope all of you are enjoying this week and are not as far behing schedule as I am. If so, and you're up at 1:00am trying to finish that last minute gift while the kid who it's intended for is in bed.......you're in good company.
Even with my stress filled days, I stop several times a day and am reminded of all the friends and family we won't be seeing this Christmas. I'll miss you and think of you while lying under my tree with a huge Diet Coke on Thursday morning...when we all get up...around 10:00. haha-all of you with little kids will be up before dawn! suckers!

New Baby

Hahahaha. Not the human kind. The canine variety.....a 10 week old cockapoo to be exact. Fritz is the reason for my blogging absence....along with the kids VERY hectic schedules, and work, and the shopping I still haven't finished, and, and, and.

More later. I have lots of ranting and raving saved up. I've just been saving up until I could do a proper "update". Seems how that's not gonna happen, and Holly's nagging me to update.... you can have little bits at a time. For now.....we've got a new baby....um, puppy. He's so good. Sleeps through the night and pees outside. What more can you ask?

Hope your holiday season is better than mine...:) I'm stressed to the gills and it's giving me a migraine....3 in the last week to be exact. Give me drugs now!
